Nesma High Training Institute's NEOM Branch Celebrates its First Vocational Training Graduates

Nesma & Partners Contracting Company Ltd. is delighted to announce a significant milestone as its new High Training Institute (NHTI) NEOM branch celebrates the graduation of its first batches of vocational training graduates. This achievement underscores Nesma & Partners' commitment to developing local talents and highlights the company's dedication to building a sustainable future for the construction industry.
Established in 2012, under the supervision of the Technical Vocational Training Corporation and in compliance with Quality Certification of ISO 9001:2015, NHTI has been instrumental in providing in-house training to over 16,700 Nesma & Partners employees. The institute's proven track record is exemplified by its high passing rates for all vocational certificates, reflecting its commitment to operational excellence and delivering long-term value. As a certified testing center for the Skills Verification Program, the Professional Accreditation Program (PACC), and Saudi Aramco's Contractor Workforce Qualifications Assurance Program (CWQAP), NHTI ensures that its trainees are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to thrive in the industry. Moreover, NHTI is an authorized training provider/partner for OSHAcademy and Project Management Institute offering HSE international certified training programs/courses in addition to PMP certifications.
NHTI NEOM was established in 2022 to meet the specific needs of NEOM's mega projects. With a focus on sustainable development and innovative technologies, NHTI NEOM implements strategic plans for various training, including vocational, technical, Health, Environment, and Safety (HSE) and English language (general, business & technical). The vocational training programs at NHTI NEOM span a duration of 6-9 months and encompass a comprehensive range of courses, including Plumbing, Steel Fixing, Construction Electricity, Shuttering Carpentry, Ducting, Pipefitting, Scaffolding, Painting and Masonry.
The total number of trained employees at NHTI NEOM has reached an impressive 4,345 as of Q2 2023, with a total of 245,856 vocational training hours and another 16,232 training hours dedicated to additional topics, such as soft skills, HSE or Anti-Money Laundering (AML). By providing accredited courses, certified instructors, and tailored curricula, NHTI NEOM empowers its graduates with the necessary expertise to excel in their roles. Taking the first step in that direction, NHTI-NEOM will graduate 180 trainees by September 2023 as first batch in which 32 of them have already joined NEOM sites in May and June.
